NFL 2k5 PC Editor Release Thread

I would like to use this thread to post anytime a new verion of the editor is uploaded. That way people can always look to this thread to see what is the latest version and what it contains.

I ask that you not post in this thread. I will create a bugs/comments/request thread for that purpose. You never know, maybe we can get them stickied.

So here goes. Version 3.0.1.7 Uploaded May 20, 2008

• Updated PBP Name Index File
• Open 360 game save folder without zipping. NOTE: DO NOT try to open files on your 360 hard drive directly. Copy them to your PC first.

I had some time so I thought I would upload a version with PBP name file updated based on the great work of those on the board who went through the tedious task of discovering the names. Also, the number of 360 users is rising by the day and I get tons of questions about how to edit 360 files so I figured I would just add a way to do it from editor.

<li>Fixed problem where 360 franchise files were not recognized as franchises.</li>
<li>Added additional error handling to deal with fudged name/photo files</li>
<li>Added the ability to clear a teams salary cap penalty by right clicking on
the team name. Cap Penalty is also correctly calculated.</li>
<li>Added the ability to backup/restore punt returners to ease resetting the
correct punt returners in franchise files if the CPU changes them.&nbsp; Found
in the Tools | Backup and Restore... menu.</li>
<li>No longer color rows in the grid for injuries/IR.&nbsp; Instead place
values behind the players last name.&nbsp; So far, the values are:&nbsp; Ret./Inj./IR/Exp
and they stand for Retiring/Injured/On the IR/Contract is Expiring (i.e. zero
years left). Note:&nbsp; Players can have more then 1 value at a time which is
why coloring was no longer the best solution.&nbsp; </li>
