One thing about the 2k series that has baffled me since the DC days is the in game yardage stats. They show the offensive yards gained for each team, and then a few lines down they show the yards allowed for each squad. I am no Sir Isaac Newton, but the yardage allowed stat seems a bit of a waste since I should be able to derive it by taking my opponents yards gained and multiplying it by 1.

Or, you could take the opponends yards gained and multiply it by itself, then take the square root of the resulting product.
