i havent read anything on the UNK (1-4) attributes for sometime but the last ideas i heard concerning its potential meaning were debunked (i think one guess had to do w/ a QB throwing sidearm). i pretty much forgot about it until today when, amid PMs on my draft class file, i got a msg from OS Member, 500bloc (thanks), as follows:
to the best of my recollection, no one had yet considered examining the attribute over several franchise seasons. all the suggestions i remember were guessing on "in-game" (one single game) impact. ive only done very minimal testing on this idea as of yet, but it looks promising. if anyone wants to take it upon themselves to try & confirm this please do.
i remember i had found out what the "unknown" numbers are for, example-
unk0 = special team type player, will not really progress
unk1 = backup type player, progress alittle
unk2 = average good player, can progress to a star
unk3 = star players, the only way really to become elite,
i noticed cb's in the later years never seem become this.
the unknown numbers basically represent a peak rating divided into 4
parts, so u can basically say they add unseen value like this
0 is D peak
1 is C peak
2 is B peak
3 is A peak
