Great win against the Pack. Wouldn't have expected Hundley to put up those kind of numbers once Rodgers went down. Mannion did a great job for you while Patterson had a monster day out there

It was a great weekend for us because the Seahawks lost as well as us beating a team which could well have beaten us had they not lost our starting QB. We have a 4-2 record in the division and Seattle's is 3-3. Now that the Hawks can't do any better than 10-6, we control our destiny- a win in either of the last two games gives us the NFC West title.

I've been investing training in Hundley and he's up to 80 OVR. With some more good games he'll be drawing interest in the upcoming offseason.

Re: California Dreamin'

Where did that picture of the Heisman trophy winner come from? Did you recreate it in NCAA or is that provided from Madden?

From my UTSA dynasty:

BEEP! BEEP! | UTSA Roadrunners

I'm not following events exactly as they happened there but I'm including some of the players in the draft classes. I had said I would do a Madden franchise featuring Keith Jackson. After he's picked in the 2020 draft, this one will spawn a spin-off (unless he ends up with the Rams )

Ahhh that's right! I was thinking about that a few days ago and was hoping you would continue it at some point. Love that you will be bringing some of the guys into this dynasty. Excited to see where Keith Jackson ends up and I sure wouldn't hate to see him dawning a Ram uniform on Sundays!

"Win Streak" Threatens Giants' Draft Position

The New York Giants have suddenly won two consecutive games and now share the league’s worst record (3-11) with the Cincinnati Bengals. Would a draft order of Bengals 1, Giants 2 preclude the G-Men from selecting Lamar Jackson? Such a situation would put the Dolphins and Saints in play to trade up, and there is a faction in the Cincy fanbase that wants their team to bungle out and pick Jackson to replace Andy Dalton. That faction is not going to get its way. If the Bengals did pick Jackson, it would be to trade him to the highest bidder. Cincy could also get a bonanza of picks from the G-Men, drop back only one spot, and select the same play they would have at no. 1. At this point, both teams have more motivation to lose out instead of playing for pride.

Dolphins Fire Gase, Burke

The consensus has been that Adam Gase has been in lame duck status since at least October, and now Gase has become the first coach to fail to survive until the end of the 2018 season. Gase and his defensive coordinator, Matt Burke (the successor to Denver head coach Vance Joseph), have been terminated by the Miami Dolphins, effective immediately. The final nail in the coffin was this week’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings, a team that has had Case Keenum under center since Teddy Bridgewater’s career-ending injury. Offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen has been named interim head coach but is expected to follow Gase and Burke out the door in two more weeks. Gase was never able to get the Dolphins headed in the right direction and his status as a quarterback whisperer has taken a hit thanks to the erratic play of Ryan Tannehill, who may also be in store for a change of scenery in 2019. No names have been connected with the vacancy as yet.

This week the Rams travel to Portland for the first time to take on the former San Diego (and briefly Los Angeles) Chargers, and their destiny is in their own hands. With a NFC West record one game better than Seattle and with the Seahawks unable to finish any better than 10-6, the 9-6 Rams can claim the NFC West title for the first time since 2003 (the second year of the current divisional format) with a victory in one of their final two regular season games. Preferably it would be this one, leaving them to play a pressure-free game against what will be a tougher opponent in the Philadelphia Eagles. The Snowhawks' playoff chances are on life support and hinging on the very remote chance of being an 8-8 wild card should they win out, but you know what they say about cornered animals. A his yards per game rate, Philip Rivers would be leading the league in passing yards if he'd been playing since Week 1 and he's been averaging almost 2 TD passes per game, but he has a 1/1 TD/INT ratio which is uncharacteristic of him and could be a sign of aging. Portland's defense is 28th in the league in yards allowed and next to last in sacks, offering an opportunity for Sean Mannion to have another big day.

The Rams are looking forward to some fishing on the Columbia River on Saturday
