Just read through this dynasty, loving it so far! That last SEC update with Sumlin made me laugh pretty hard. Good job getting the win against Mississippi State after that Vandy blowout!

Nice win, looks like a solid effort all around. No single player had a big day for Mississippi State and your running game played well. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come. Surprising to see Texas A&M struggling so mightily, looks like Sumlin is going to have to start updating his resume.

That's appreciated bud, and glad to have you as a reader. I'm not quite sure what is up with A&M other than the fact there really stinking it up this season. Sumlin's job security currently sits at 67% (He's actually got a higher security rating than Stoops 54%) so I can't see him getting the sack at the moment but stranger things have happend.

The Bulldogs have struggled on offense all season but they have the players there to cause any team a few headaches let alone my Wildcats who rank 126th in pass defense. The object was to put as much pressure on Nick Fitzgerald and force him to tuck it in a run, that worked and as his numbers were down the rest of the team followed.

As always guys, thanks for taking the time to check in and leave feedback.

Four-star quarterback Brandon Dixon committed to the Kentucky Wildcats Wednesday morning.

LEXINGTON, Kentucky -- The University of Kentucky football program has added a major piece to its recruiting puzzle for 2017 today, when highly touted quarterback Brandon Dixon announced that he will spurn “better ranked” programs and commit to Kentucky.

The Kentucky Wildcats didn’t have a single commitment prior to the win over Mississippi State this past weekend, like their struggles on the field it appears it was going to be one of those years off the field too, Dixon has changed that.

Dixon – a 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect from Youngstown, Ohio had offers from West Virginia, Cincinnati, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan and Penn State and in late September was expected to commit to his home state Buckeyes. However, Kentucky recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow has been in consistent contact with Dixon for the past two years, and UK emerged as a front runner for his services when the prospect dropped his list down to just four schools.

Dixon visited Lexington for UK’s loss to Vanderbilt two weeks ago, he had already taken a visit to Cincinnati in week four, but until today’s announcement he had not taken any other recruiting trips.

“I am blessed and proud to say I’m 100-percent committed to the University of Kentucky Wildcats,” Dixon said in a brief statement.

Dixon could quite possibly Kentucky’s biggest verbal commitment received in this year’s recruiting trail, the Cardinal Mooney High School prospect is the 17th ranked quarterback in the class of 2017 per Nike’s Sparq rankings, however ESPNU has him ranked as the #2 dual-threat quarterback behind Texas A&M recruitee Avery Johnson; although both run the same 40-time (4.46) Avery has the slightly better arm.

Another factor in Dixon’s decision could be the fact that his younger brother, Malik – a class of 2018 running back has already had a scholarship offer from Kentucky and has the Wildcats as his top ranked school.
