Too bad you didn't have your normal QB but hopefully Williams has more games like that regardless who is under center.

Damn, what a close loss. That would have been a great way to start off SEC play. Looks like there was a big drop off from Barker to Johnson, although the latter really showed up in the running game.

Stanley Williams has been quite the workhorse.

It's what I get for being greedy, we had pretty much done what we wanted to in the rushing game and I thought on a 4th and 2 I could sneak in for seven... maybe not!

We could do what we wanted in the running game against them but then again they have been letting up an average of 173.3 per game so I expected to gain some good yardage. Our offense has a strong run base, I like to use at times three different backs with one main ball carrier.

Johnson was good enough, but with Barker I reckon we'd have won.

Sadly, Florida was our first SEC game and like this one was a loss.

The offense seemed quicker with Johnson under center but that comes from his vast upgrade to Barker in the rushing game, however... Barker is a better passer and I hope to have him back next week.
