The Browns have received the medical information on both Derek Carr and Travis Benjamin's injuries.

Travis Benjamin, one of the Browns top receivers, will miss 3 games with a shoulder injury. Benjamin has 26 yards on 4 catches so far in 2014. Benjamin's struggles with injuries continue in 2014. Some wonder if he will ever return to the returner role.

Derek Carr, the Browns starting quarterback, will miss 2 games with Broken Ribs. Derek Carr has 225 passing yards and a passing touchdown in 2014. Carr has struggled to get the ball out in time and has had immense pressure in the pocket. Coach Chudzinski spoke on his injury, "he just needs to get the ball out faster. The Cleveland Browns got a huge victory over the St. Louis Rams, 51-10.

In a game that started as a shootout, Austin Davis and the Browns offense were perfect. They didn't turn over the ball and ended every drive with points. The shootout ended after the first quarter when the Browns ran away with the game. It all started with a Buster Skrine interception returned for a touchdown and didn't stop there. The Browns would add 24 more points to a final score of 51-10. Austin Davis started off very well in his first career start. Against his former team, Davis started off with 2 big touchdowns in the first quarter. He showcased his arm throwing over the St. Louis defense. After the first quarter, Davis struggled to find open receivers, lacking proper arm strength and accuracy. Davis went to the bench after a performance that led to the Browns victory. Carlos Hyde was a major part of the offense. He rushed for 164 yards, another career day, and a touchdown on 23 carries. After 3 quarters he was replaced by Dion Lewis and James White who found just as much success. James White ran for his first career touchdown. Amari Cooper had another impressive showing in the receiving game, responsible for 10 points in the first half. He was able to get open over the top twice and even caught a ball placed several yards in front of him.

The Browns defense had their best performance of the season against the Rams. In the first quarter, the defense could barely stop a thing. Sam Bradford had an incompletion and had led his team through 2 scoring drives. In the second quarter and beyond, it was a complete turnaround. The Browns forced 3 turnovers, got 7 third down stops, and didn't allow another point. In the end, they only allowed 262 offensive yards. A large part of their success was pressuring the quarterback and plugging holes in the rushing game. That pressure was responsible for 3 turnovers, 2 interceptions to Buster Skrine and 1 to T.J. Ward. This may be one of the best performances from the defense we will see all season.

The Cleveland Browns won their third straight against the Miami Dolphins 17-6 behind another dominant showing from the defense.

The Browns will be glad to have Derek Carr back after another week of shaky quarterback play. Austin Davis started his second career game and showed no improvement in his throwing accuracy. Despite throwing a touchdown late in the second half, Austin Davis was benched after only completing a quarter of his passes. Brian Hoyer didn't do much better only completing 4 passes with no passing touchdowns. With questions at quarterback the Browns rushing game stepped up and Carlos Hyde continued his league best season, with 176 rushing yards and a touchdown. Eric Decker had an impressive game with 124 yards receiving and a receiving touchdown.

The Browns defense had another outstanding game, holding the Dolphins out of the end zone and forcing 4 interceptions. Although the Dolphins managed to move the ball successfully the Browns defense came up big at the right times. T.J. Ward, Jabaal Shepard, Buster Skrine, and Tashaun Gipson all intercepted Ryan Tannehill once. The turnovers were crucial to a Browns victory. The defense needs to continue to play with this intensityl if they want to continue the Browns winning streak.
