ok so I got FM14(first one I've had) and want to start as a pretty good team to get use to the game. I selected England annnnnd it wont let me use any team in England. is there some option that needs to be selected i'm not seeing?

There is an option when you set up the game to only allow you to take control of teams without a manager. Make sure it's set correctly.

Thanks man. Got it unchecked now. Been playing it almost non stop as rangers fc! Got them up to the premiership, after 2 straight promotions. Also also lost to Celtic in the final of the Scottish cup in my first season. Wasn't allowed to qualify for Europe but won the cup in year two and will be taking Europe and the Scottish premier league by storm in year 3!!!
