    Fatigue & Durability

I am in game 14 of my nats franchise and the second time the trainer has said i need to scratch werth due to fatigue. IRL last night was game 59 for the nats and Matt Williams gave him off for the first time this season. I assume this is controlled under "durability" and werths is only 78 due to being injured the last few years? Is the simple solution to up his durability? How do you guys handle this-- at this rate hes going to need 1-2 games off a week which is very unrealistic

I ignore what the trainer says or the pop up. I manage my team based off how I feel they need to rested and such.

Guys playing with low stamina bars isn't going to cause any issue other than they may be slightly more prone to getting injured. Outside of that, I haven't seen any negative effect.

Put everyone's durability to 99. Have players on the bench who play multiple positions. Rest guys every 5-6 days.

Is it possible to screenshot Werths energy bar so I could see. It's possible IRL a similar suggestion has been made to Williams in some way over these 59 games, and he's also hit the ignore button lol

Low fatigue level is supposed to have a very minimal effect on your players. So don't worry about hitting the ignore button to replicate realistic playing time for certain guys.

The only problem is that I doubt the CPU controlled teams are taking this approach with their own players. But I'm not 100% on that.. I'm sure someone who has already simmed a season or two could easily confirm this....

The question to you. Is your players playing at high level? Are they being productive offensively and defensively? The everyday lineup in PS4 seems decreased faster than the PS3 versions. I do sit my starting catcher whomever that might be every 5th day...

I have this problem too with guys like Reyes, Lawrie, Melky and Bautista. Just been ignoring it and they keep putting up the same numbers. I think they need a seperate Stamina and Durability rating for position players like they have for pitchers IMO. Pulling a groin and just being too tired to play are 2 totally seperate things.

Position players should have a stamina attribute just like the pitchers. Having position players stamina/energy and injury prone factor in the same attribute doesn't make much sense. I'm not sure that the durability attribute really factors in to whether a player gets injured or not. I think the only thing this attribute does is tell the CPU when to sub in a bench player basically, which can be way to often.
