hi guys
how is the touted call ups based on stats/performance feature working out in franchise?
thanks!
its great!
Teams wait until May before they start calling guys up, but when May hits it goes on for all teams, which is cool because I would always wait until May to make my roster moves. I've seen some top prospects get called up this month. A.J Reed(Astros) and Jake Thompson(Phillies) were called up after the last game I played.
I like it. The only thing I would like see adjusted is optioning guys down with more than 5 years of service time.
Those guys can't be optioned without their consent and most mlb players do not agree to a minors assignment. They are traditionally released with the ball club eating the salary. **see Danks in real life currently

I would also like to see the cpu do spot starts for a pitcher who is knicked up. I know if it happens right before the game there isn't anything that the team can do, but I have faced, not this year, teams in the past who have a starter out with a nagging injury and instead of calling up someone to spot start, they will place a middle reliever into the rotation.
I've seen some interesting players sent down too. he Giants sent 3B Matt Duffy down to AAA because he was playing poorly. The Dodgers have moved Seager and Pederson around. And the Yankees just sent CC Sabathia and the 50 million he's owed by the end of 2017 down after he passed through waivers, which really surprised me. I noticed that Sabathia had also regressed to a 69 OVR as well though, and his stats are awful.
Anyone who claims to be a fan of two teams in the same pro sport is actually a fan of none.
