Substitution Pattern Needs to be Fixed

I was playing against the Heat with the Celtics, tied at 82 with two minutes left to play. The Heat decide to take out the following players:

    Dwayne Wade
    Antoine Walker
    Shaquille O'Neal
    Jason Williams

So I played the final two minutes against the Heat's B-team. Is there anyway to stop this?

Also, the next game I had a similar situation, down 2 with one minute left. What happened? The cpu thought it would be a good idea if Kevin Garnett (who had 30 points) came out of the game. Since I was controlling the Celtics I was able to turn auto subs off and put him back in, but I had to waste a timeout. It's frustrating, and I hope there is a solution or this is addressed in a patch. And for the record, I play with subs at "rotation" instead of "fatigue."

yeah kinda sucks that way right now. What I have done is give my players a few less mins so they can make it to crunch time. Plus now I play with 10 min qtrs nstead of 12 so that has helped. If u play with 12 maybe lower fatigue a bit

10 minutes quarters have worked for me so far with cpu subs.

im playing on 9 min quarters.
and i haven't seen the bad rotation subs yet.
not from the cpu and especially not from my team.
the rotation actually works better than expected.
.... hope i didnt jinx myself.

My only beef with this game is when my SF suddenly becomes the PG for about a minute or two. My SF becomes a PF or a C. I already edited there primary position and secondary position and I still see it happening. Although it is not as bad as when I first got the game.

Maybe if u cancel the progressive fatigue it will fix it...

              Who is your SF?
Because its not that uncommon to have an athletic SF play point guard.
Or atleast bring the ball up the court for a while.

Are you setting up secondary rotations. It's left or right block on the rotation section.

up the fatigue rate, so the subs get tired and the others come in.

Do you mean the situationals? RB or LB just switches to the next team in the rotations section on the 360

I played my friend yesterday. I played as the Clippers, he was New Jersey. At one point, he the CPU subbed Josh Boone in at SG for him, and he even brought the ball up once (I stripped him at halfcourt though). I hate CPU subs, I've never used them, and I never will.

I noticed this online with the auto subs on. A lot of people were playing out of position. At one time t mac was playing center.

I manually sub, but I have never seen the cpu not have the stars for the opposing team in during crunch time. Sometimes they even have the Gatorade cup next to them because the CPU doesn't want to pull them at the end of the game.
