Re: Players Size in 2k11
I'm in complete agreement with you, Czar. The court-to-player size ratio was greatly improved in NBA 2K10. I think they just need to continue to improve court-spacing on offense, improve defensive rotation A.I., add more/better off-ball animations and completely re-tool their play-calling/playbooks.San Antonio Spurs 5 - Time ('99, '03, '05, '07, '14) NBA Champions

Re: Players Size in 2k11
Seriously? The AI defenders in NBA 2K10 are notorious for covering so much ground in such a short time. It makes it near impossible to get a wide open jump shot. I think what you might be talking about is that the CPU defenders don't rotate quick enough? If not, I have no idea what you're talking aboutComment

Re: Players Size in 2k11
I think the court size is close to good within the perimeter, I think the bigger issue though stems from player acceleration and contact against defenders. This stuff really "shrinks" the court down to size in the end.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Players Size in 2k11
They cover ground well going forward because they play so tight. On the flip side they are slow going back to help. People score about 60-80% of their points in the paint online and the CPU never blocks shots. They give up more And1s than blocks. Also they are very slow getting back on defense. Thats the general rule. Slow back fast forward.Comment

Re: Players Size in 2k11
A little late to the discussion, but what is the concensus regarding player to court ratio? I never really gave it much thought until OS user bearschicago made a comment (page 3, post #21) about player/court ratio for increase realism in ChaseB's

It looks like the players are smaller and court is a tad big rather than the opposite.
NBA2k10 – Cavaliers vs. Lakers
NBA - Lakers vs. Bulls
NBA – Kobe Highlights (Screenshot image below is from 'Detroit vs. Lakers' game)
Another thing I noticed is that the spacing between the 3-point line and the half court line is not long enough in 2K10. I would say another 3-5 feet needs to be added.
So taking this into consideration the bottom picture is actually zoomed in more compared to 2K10 pic. The body size are both identical. This means the players have to be a bit smaller in 2K10. The wing players are good in 2K but the bigs are too wide.Comment

Re: Players Size in 2k11
2k's court isnt wide enough. Look at that original court pic,, there is so much room between Brad Miller & Prince. I guess in 2k,, in same situation is so close..
Also,, in original court pic, the camera angle is much lower than 2k., thats why the width look fine, but, wrong, its not wide enough.
