Either way it's all f'd up.

Now days it depends on the player and not the action. Kind of messes up the whole thing on suspensions. I seriously do not get it anymore.

      $$$$$$$$$

Imagine if this was Lebron James instead of Gerald Wallace, the person that fouled him would be looking at charges being pressed against him in addition to the lengthy suspension he would receive from the League.

Anyway, for those saying he should get 10 games because of the injury, what happens if Wallace is only out for let's say...3 games, should it still be 10 games? Or what if he commits a hard foul and Wallace injured his knee and has to miss the season, should Bynum now be suspended for the remainder of the season because Wallace is out for the season, even though he didn't intend for Wallace to miss any games AT ALL?

I mean going by that, if we're giving 10 game suspensions for Flagrant Fouls, then they might as well give players 30-40 game suspensions for fighting then.

Give Bynum a 2 game suspension, fine him and leave it at that.

            But 10 game suspension? Seriously?

C'mon P. Did you not see him take a clear run at Gerald?? I'd put it on the same level as when Horry took a shot at Nash.

Man I wouldn't even put it THAT high lol. Horry knew damn well what he was doing when he hit-sticked Nash into the side like that and I'm pretty sure he knew well ahead what the Consequences would be when he did that but yet he still went ahead with it.

This should slow this debate down some. We are all clueless outsiders looking in. This is coming from the inside and from a respected man.

swap Kobe for Wallace and Diop for Bynum and let's see if Laker fans will be taking it overboard with Kobe laying up in the hospital with a bad injury on a dirty play. People are upset because a key member of their team was hurt pretty bad when that did not have to happen. 10 games may be overboard but 2-4 games is fair.

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                        Kobe would've made the shot.

Oh, nothing. It's just that the fouls that he used to give and receive on a nightly basis compared to what people are debating over today. The idea of getting ten games(ten!) for what Bynum did would be ludicrous to Oakley in 1995. He'd have missed 70 games due to suspension

I'm not saying he should be suspended or sth, but it is 2009, not 1995. Things have changed, rules too.

he should be suspended for zero games..... gimme a break. he got there late and didn't analyze the play right. it wasn't malicious at all. stuff like that happens in basketball. i'm a big laker fan but that doesn't change my view. if it was teh other way around and it was on kobe i'd say the same thing. geez.... that wasn't even an intentionally hard foul. i think he got there too late and got in a position where it ended up being a hard foul... i think he was trying to put his hands up and wallace was on him in a flash and BAM!
