    Player Editing in NFL 2k3?

I have 2k3, but is there any way to edit a player's name? I want to edit LaVar Arrington in there, but I can't figure out how to do it. thanks.

What's weird is that you can't edit names! But it's in there. It's under like team rosters or something on the opening screen and from there you go into a certain teams roster, click on a player and edit him.

I have not tried yet...I hope this is not true...it was one of the really irritating aspects of 2K2. I know I can just recreate Arrington, but I should not have too. Last year I don't think you could bring created players into Franchise, although I think this year that has changed.

Damn I wish I was not at work now.

Not trying to be pro madden b/c i am on the fence when it comes to buying madden or 2k3. Actually leaning toward 2k3 but if you cannot edit players names in a dynasty that really subtracts from the dynasty in my opinon. How could thatbe better in franchise than madden? What happens to the arrington that is on the game if you create a new one? Do you have 2?

I was commenting more on 2K2...it was one big reason I returned it. They did not handle rosters very well. I have not been that far into 2K3 yet.

Everything I have read leads me to believe they fixed this stuff.

You can edit everything BUT the player's name which I found to be really weird. I tried twice for Arrington but there's just no option for it. But, oh yeah, of course, we need to be able to edit his socks. I'm not angry about this but come on. This should be in the game.

His name isn't in the game, since he isn't part of the player's association.

Just a hunch, but maybe that's why you can't edit player names. It still sucks.

Maybe because his name isn't "LB #57"....his name is Lavar Arrington. Thats why you would want to change it.
