Tiger Woods 360

So what's the verdict on Tiger Woods for the 360? I didn't get a chance to pick the game up yet, but with a price drop I'm getting a bit interested.



Is this game worth buying for the $34 used, even less than that with my Gamestop discount?

Actually its a good game...most played on my 360.Never liked the previous version but if you do not use the "spin in air" and "Gamebreakers" features it plays a good game of golf! Im looking forward to the next one.

Agreed.Turn off all the arcade crap, play with tour difficulty on and zero skills except for power and it is the closest to sim on consoles for the series.

The game is heading in the right direction.Let's hope EA doesn't go backwards with the 07 version.

I recently got an XBox 360 and was also interested in getting Tiger. However, the lack of courses and actual golfers compared to current-gen is pathetic. There aren't nearly as many licensed courses or licensed golfers.

I'm looking forward to Tiger Woods 07 though. I'm sure things will be back to good in the next version.

I still need to go rent it though just to see if the gameplay is solid.

It was A LOT better than previous Tiger Woods games. My problem is that even with the game set to "tour" mode, which takes off the ability to put spin on the ball in air and the power shot... the issue for me was, i still would get at least one or 2 eagles per course that was knocked in from the fairway... I'm not talking about a chip in, I'm talking from 150yrs+.
I can see getting a couple long drives on a par 5 and having the chance since some of the pros can do that, but it was ridiculous having my created player that didn't have squat for abliites doing it.

Only having 6 courses didn't bother me since they all look good and play good.

I've been toying wtih the thought of buying it again since it's cheaper.

IF 2007 takes out that gota get an eagle from the fairway, this will be one of my favs right there with Links 04. I don't mind if it happend every few games, but EVERYONE was annoying... THANKFULLY THOUGH, it would sometimes average out with a hole or two at boggy. =D

If you really want golf, you'll like it.

I saw the price drop as well and thought about picking it up. For an average golf fan you think he would like it? Why I say that is because iA dont know a lot about the game, so some stuff big time golf fans notice I probably wouldnt even see.

Are the XBox Live TOurnament scores for real.
People are shooting in the 40's for 18.

Is this a reflection of being able to Eagle from 150 yards out somewhat consistently?
