    new putter

I just got a new Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter. I have only had it a day but it is well worth the cost. Today was the most fun i have ever had putting in my life.

I got an Odyssey DFX (2-ball) putter for Christmas. Amazing. These new tech putters make it very hard to hit it off line. I find it easier to get it started on the line I pick... now if I could only get the right line and weight more often.

it's that much of a difference? man, i gotta add a putter to my 'clubs to buy' list

are they heavier or something to keep you on line more? That'd be nice though, because once you know you're pretty on line you can actually work on your green reading and speed

All you have to do is putt a few putts with a really nice putter (such as scotty cameron or odyssey) and you will be able to tell the difference. I have found that with my scotty cameron I can control the distance of my putts much better than my old ping putter. Now if only I could read the greens I'd be in business.

I think the new technology key to it being so true is the "face balancing". The head is designed so that it WANTS to stay aligned.
