For $29.99 a year you can get EA Access and get this game, plus a vault of other games for *free*. They also have a monthly payment option. Just a friendly FYI since you just bought an XB1. Its a great investment.

Powewrstar Golf is great arcade golf. I hope they do a sequel with online play.

But the game is still ultra social, as there are score chasing moments continuously, yet they don't interfere with the game. It's done really, really well.

With golf season in full swing I've been playing a lot of Rory again. I really do enjoy the gameplay, but some of the things they skimped on are so infuriating. You can't blame the budget or manpower for NOT SHOWING YOU YOUR SCORECARD AFTER YOUR ROUND!

I mean, come on. I win a major. I see the XP gained screen, the leaderboard, and then... Okay, we're back to the main screen. Come on. Even NES golf games could show you a rudimentary scorecard. And the announcers definitely remember your score from previous holes, so it's not like a scorecard is impossible.

It truly is a shame we couldn't get a sequel to Rory because the series had quite a bit of potential. Like you said, the actual golf gameplay is pretty strong. It's just so bare bones that it's always been hard for me to pick it up and play more than an hour or two at a time. It just didn't have that "it" mode to keep me coming back all the time.

I'm not sure if I'll go all in with The Golf Club 2 because it just hasn't ever pulled me in, but I might. I'm still on the fence.

This game would be great if it had the presentation elements of Tiger Woods 13. Right now it's just too stale but the gameplay is definitely there.

Just played 36 holes picking up in Round 3 of the Fedex Cup that I stopped playing about 3 months ago. The third round was brutal, I was all over the place. But was able to shoot -1 on the round.

The final round I had a 1 stroke lead on McGirt. Well boy did I put it to him in that round! I'm back. Every time I fire it up I thoroughly enjoy myself. Can't wait to play round one of the next tournament tonight.

My son and I played a round a few nights ago, and we had a good time as always. He played a couple tournaments as well in career mode and enjoyed it. I never really could stick with Career Mode because it's so bare bones, but maybe I will at some point.

It's still a fun game to pick up and play!
