What "new" editing features are there in madden 17? is there any global editing like say for instance.

Hey buddy

You can edit basically everything once your inside of franchise mode......which is great

For example lets say you want to turn a 5'10 wr into a 6'6 wr the game now allows you to do hat without creating any players from scratch

I'm doing all my basic edits outside of franchise mode and then if i need to adjust height, weight or age I'll finalize it inside of franchise mode.

This editing feature is what EA should have done years ago in Madden and NBA LIVE

I now have the ability to even edit my own draft classes into real former nfl players from the 90's if i so choose

I just found this site. I have been playing Madden since 91, and have been creating rosters forever. My football history knowledge of players and teams are extensive, and I have a few ideas for rosters myself. If u would ever like help creating rosters, I would enjoy helping. I have an Xbox one. Playing the game as long as I have, I can remember most players on every team, right down to the offensive line and backups. There is also a website I found with all the players attributes from 2001-2009, but I also enter equipment, hometowns colleges and birthdays when I do rosters. I remember when you could first transfer players from NCAA to Madden on PlayStation, and I would spend hours every year editing the top 1000 college players for Madden, so if u ever want to collaborate on some rosters hit me up. We could split divisions or conferences, or even positions. My knowledge goes back to before I was born . I win bets all the time naming all Super bowl team participatints ,winners and losers, who the mvp was and scores on most games. Hit me up sometime if u are interested

I'm basically just copying all of the work over from that file to the Xbox one madden 17

I very rarely stick with EA'S ratings relying more so on old scouting reports from the 90's that's why some big name players like Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith on my files will never have 90 speed ratings which is opposite of how ea rates them

The teams in general will appear to be lower on this file overall because you will very rarely see a team with more than 3-4 players in that 90 range or higher.

This will be classic teams that capture not only their strengths but also their weaknesses

I agree with the ratings you spoke of. I am a diehard Cowboys fan, but when I have created someone like Emmitt I have never given him a speed rating over 90, because that wasn't his game. When I create rosters, I want them to be as accurate as possible. I hate seeing people make players 99 overall or 99 speed just because they were good, even if it wasn't a part of their game. I also don't like having lopsided leagues, meaning a few superteams with a bunch of scrub teams. Over 25 years of playing Madden, I have used about every franchise on a regular basis over the years. I do miss from the PlayStation 2 the ability to basically create a league using the round robin, having 8 teams that I would basically make an all star team for each division, ie: nfc east,north,south and west

I'll never forget around 1993-94 when madden came out with a super bowl team game for Sega genesis, it was a gold cartridge that had every super bowl team participants up to that point. Madden 93 was the first for historic rosters that included with the regular 28 teams, the 8 greatest teams to that point- the 72 Dolphins,76 Raiders,77 Cowboys,78 Steelers, 82 Redskins,84 49ers,85 bears, and the 86 Giants. Then in 1994 they added all the teams that went to a super bowl, as well as the first All Time Teams for each franchise. Then when Ps2 came out they started changing all the numbers on the players for historic teams so they wouldn't get in trouble. The best non super bowl team that I liked to play with that I never lost a game with when I used them was the 66 Rams. Man I miss the good ol days

I can't even begin to describe my utter disappointment that this isn't going to be for ps4. Playmakers, if you'd be willing to somehow transfer a master list to me of ratings and which players to edit into who as you go along, I'd be willing to do the work for everyone on the ps4 side of things!

what's up chino how it's going man?

Unfortunately I have already began the editing process about 2 weeks in now and I haven't really kept a list of all players who I've edited over for this file.

It's a very extensive process doing it the way I do it because i try to match up the player height, size, age and year pro as close as possible then find a picture that looks a little similar to the guy I'm wanting to edit....

I wish we had the ability to convert these files between system like the NCAA 14 rosters I worked on
