Sounds good. Be sure to read the list on how to make it challenging. You may, or may not, find the need to use the 'Madden Challenge' to make the game more difficult.

I'm going to begin looking into the Special team sliders and the fatigue sliders next. I tried Fatigue out at 80, and by the half I had several players that couldn't even hit the field again! lol

Hey man thanks for these sliders, I had been playing with Dan's team sliders and they are solid, but were getting a bit too easy for me. Anyway I have used yours as a base and am thrilled with the results, i have had to change some things to get them where I wanted them but they are very good. I am still not happy with the running game totally, but I am getting there. I dont want to sabotage your thread with my changes but if you are interested I can post them and we can exchange ideas. Thanks again.

Absolutely, post away. Please provide team information and stats so we can make sure we're on the same page when discussing impacts / changes.

Hi Valdarez,

The sliders look good overall and I am going to try a few games with them tonight. One thing I keep seeing you mention is the amount that the cpu blitzes. Have you been playing with hardcore play calling? I don't know why but I can say from playing on both advanced and later hardcore and back to advanced that the cpu blitzing is more controlled on the hardcore setting. They still blitz but it is rare that I get the full house style of blitzes that leavs the middle of the field open. So if you have not tried it switch to hardcore play calling even though from the in game description it looks like all it does is turn the replays off. As if the game showed many replay s to begin with....

Unfortunately I think that's wishful thinking on your part. The Play Calling setting you are seeing is for your play calling configuration, on the CPUs. It has to do with the menus that are available when you play the game. Change it to Beginner and you'll see what I mean. You only get one play to choose from. No menu, no ask Madden, no formation, by player, nothing but a play. It's ironic, because Beginner is really the Hardcore setting. It's much more difficult to play the game with only one play to choose from. Worse, in beginner, you can't hot route, move the line, nothing. You can only select your player! It's tough, give it try.

I do play on Hardcore by default, as I like to select my plays at time, and I don't like going through the other menus. The CPU still blitzes way too much.

Check out Jukeman's settings. They are really good.
Fatigue at 100
QB- 0/1
RB- 45/60
WR- 45/60
FB/TE- 15/20
OL- 0/1
DT- 60/80
DE- 60/80
LB- 30/40
CB- 30/40
S- 15/20

Still don't know about the injury slider. Can't test because I only play on weekends, but I can check things out then if needed. Will try these out later this week.

I don't know about Fatigue at 100. Even at 80, I had guys sitting out nearly whole drives by the 3rd quarter. Do you know what length quarters they were meant for?

I use 15 minute quarters with 20 seconds runoff. Using those settings I have gotten great results. Low stamina players like Cadillac Williams can have 3-5 touches then he needs to come out for 3-5 plays; and high stamina players like Matt Forte can have roughly 10 touches and comes back in 3-5 plays. Fairly realistic IMO. You should try them out.

What were your In/Out sliders at 80? Test these. Trust me.

k, I'll give them a try tomorrow. My first test was just with the fatigue setting, I didn't modify the in/out settings, maybe that has an affect. I just found it strange that I'd see Witten out for an entire drive at times, which didn't seem realistic to me. Maybe the in/out sliders will fix that problem..

It definitely should. Because the way it is set up is the HB will come out at 45% stamina and go back in for 60% stamina.
