Ever catch is an aggressive catch?

Maybe I'm just not use to the new catch system but it seems every ball my player is jumping. Even if the pass is thrown perfect for run after catch, they jump! I know the different buttons to catch but every single pass the player is jumping to catch the ball. Any ideas? Can that be turned off?

Yeah, hit the RAC button, on ps4 it is the square.
