how do YOU stay interested in long games?

I play 10 min quarters with 20 sec runoff. I used to play 7 min qtrs without accelerated clock. I want realistic stats, though, so thats why i play 10 mins. The game seems too long though . I think it took me 1h 15 min to play a game. I was a little bored but somewhat pleased with the stats.When you play these long games , do you get bored during certain stretches of the game? How do you keep the game interesting? sounds silly i know , but just wondering. I play on all-pro because I am not that good .

I'd get bored if I constantly won games. I probably could not play many seasons if I constantly finished around 13-3.
I keep the interest by having the difficulty and sliders tuned to always present a challenge. First year in my Ravens franchise I went 5-11, then 13-3, then 12-4. With some of my players aging (Flacco) I anticipate 1 or 2 more years of winning before some rebuilding.

i play 13 min 20 acc and im just used to it, anything less for me doesnt get 120 odd plays a game and team doesnt get reasonable stats

I run 13 minutes/15 second acc.

The only time I find the game to be boring is if the score starts to rack up and become unrealistic as such. Otherwise when it's competitive and intense, it goes by quite quick.

I play 9 min quarters, 20 sec runoff, start to finish, im 90 min invested minimum.

I only get to play 2-3 games a week for starters, but i really get into the game/play.

For me its either, i take it way to serious, or i just dont log the hours.

i should add this is coach mode as i dont stick so that is probably worst case for boring

Quality over quantity. Years back one of my friends thought I was crazy because each game takes a little over an hour for me to play. I told him I would rather play one good game instead of 3 or 4 mini games.
