Does turning accelerated clock off give better results?

Something I've seen said on here a few times, I've heard it gives better weather, uniform and field degradation, and the game overall just plays better.

Re: Does turning accelerated clock off give better results?

Of all the factors you've listed, I have heard in one particular slider thread that uniform degradation and field degradation are positively affected. I can't say I've read anything pertinent to weather.

I will say that for me, turning accelerated clock off has helped me to get an optimal number of snaps in. I usually roll with 8/9 minutes with accelerated clock off.

EDIT: If you play slow speed, that number rises to 11.

Going to be starting the regular season in a new cfm this weekend using accelerated clock off and 9 min quarter time. Will post after a few games with impressions.

Uniform and field degradation are better (you know...they actually work) and you see some nice lighting transitions for late afternoon games (from afternoon to evening).

Does the game play better? I sorta think it does, but nothing I can specifically point out and it is incredibly subtle.

My best suggestion....instead of asking...try it!

Exactly what Josh said. It's just "feels" better in my opinion. Can't really name anything specific. Honestly I think it makes fatigue in general work more naturally and you can see some of the sloppiness that happens when players get tired. It doesn't fix autosubs or anything like that. The weather and field stuff do work for sure.
