Commentators and drafted players name

It could be a very possible oversight on my end, but do the commentators say the drafted rookies names?

I understand some of them might not be programmed like this guy named Udeze, but I had rookies named Looker, Hilton, and Shade and I can't recall them ever calling them by name.


It's not noticeable the first 5 seasons, but down the line when all current NFL players retire, I feel like commentary could get a little stale. The player specific and team specific commentary is something that is such a strong suit in Play Now and year 1 CFM.

Haven't heard them call any rookie names yet through about 4 games into my second season. Just generic lines.

I've had them say some of my generated rookies' names, but they were wrong. I had a running back named Lee Lavalais, and the commentators referred to him as Jeremy Butler. Also, they thought some random rookie was a real player, I think it was Jarryd Hayne.

Uggh, that's not good, hopefully they are going to patch that up.

I have the exact same issue. My backs name is Kevin Tomlinson and they always say "Jeremy Butler runs it in for the touchdown". A little annoying, hope they know about this bug.

If they do find it - I bet Jeremy Butler over there on the programming team is going to be in trouble.
