M17 Draft Order

How is the draft order decided. I traded in CFM with Browns for 1st overall and then at draft I was picking 4th?!??

Ok but when I was in regular season it said holding pick 1 round 1 then by draft was 4th overall pick? Browns were not picking ahead of me either. Gave the Bears 1st pick. They did have worst record. So wondering whether it changes based on season results in which case it was pointless trading for it before the draft

Picks are determined by the final season standings...

Well, what week were you in when you traded for it? If you traded before the off-season, the records will change since trading ends in Week 8.

So you traded your pick which was originally the Bears for a worse pick? That sucks.....what else did you give up to get it?

During the season it gives the projected pick. The draft order is, as always, decided by record in reverse order; the worst record picks first and the SB winner gets the last pick in each round.
