Has the #1 corner alignment been fixed?

It isn't uncommon for a Corner to only play one side of the field, very similar to some Corners only playing in the nickel slot. WR positions have really been mixed up this season. If you go through the different formations and sets available to you, you will notice that it's common now for the 1st(on the depth chart) wr to be lined up in several positions, including left, right, and slot. Until the devs work out how to get defensive assignment to work, this is going to be something we will continue to deal with. Your best bet would be to have several defensive formations where your #1 CB is in each position, including nickel. That way, if you run into an opponent who seems to play him at specific spots a lot, you know which formations to call to cover him.

What corner backs actually play their best wr every play? I know sherman, Revis and Norman seem to play only one side as of this year. Peterson?

Actually it worked very poorly from a technical standpoint. The reason they are no longer including it(from what i have heard over the years) is because they can't make it work properly. There seems to be some sort of problem with it. Rest assured though, when they figure it out, it will be totted as a "new and amazing" feature.

Oh I agree. It was more of just a random question. Was just curious of who actually did follow the best wr each game..

Maybe it's been too long for me to remember lol thanks on that though. Makes sense though, with how much the wr could move around, would make the defensive adjustments a little difficult to account for a DB moving every play
