The closer we get to release, the more scared I am that they aren't making an additions to franchise mode. If that's the case, it goes from "no preorder" to "not buying at all", like I did with The Show.

I'll just keep playing 17 indefinatly if the new version isn't any different.

We already know that a scouting board has been added, so at the very very least the number of additions and/or changes to franchise mode will number greater than zero.

I'm not pre-ordering, or buying at all. That's just me though, my usual method is to buy every other year. There's not enough that changes from one year to another except rosters, which doesn't matter after a couple years in franchise. 2 years is usually a bit more in terms of features, gameplay, graphics, etc to justify a purchase. I have 2017, so I will get 2019.

Longshot would have convinced me, if I could create the player and not have my character predetermined. I hated that in NBA 2k, and I don't like it about Madden. If you're going through the trouble to make an individual story mode, if you will, let me make the character and make a few decisions that alter my path. Too much is predetermined when they make a story-line beforehand.
