Show me the stats.... QB rating, wins. Rodgers is more athletic , but I think that's where the debate ends.

Is this the first time Brady's ever been a 99? Maybe back in Madden '08?
N/M, back in Madden '12 and Madden '09, he was rated 99.

Brady being rated 1 point higher than Rodgers is only "a joke" if you're a Packers fan, hate Tom Brady, or a mixture of both.

An argument could be made on either side. Rodgers has more physical talent than Brady, accumulated more yards, more touchdowns, and a Rodgers highlight reel is probably more impressive than a Brady highlight reel... but last year Brady was more accurate than Rodgers, threw fewer interceptions (the best TD:INT ratio in NFL history), threw more yards per game, had a lower sack percentage, much better QB efficiency (y/comp & y/att -- Rodgers is actually out of the top 20, well behind the other 90+ QBs), lead more 4th quarter comebacks, won more games, and while Rodgers was at home watching reruns of "Attack of the Show," Brady was leading the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.

One is 99, one is 98. It's not a joke either way, an argument could be made in either case. Heck, a case could be made for Matt Ryan as well, who was the league's MVP and deserved it. He played better than Brady and Rodgers for most of the season in 2016.

I'm not debating who's number 1, in my book, it's Brady, but it's get's old seeing the same debates, whether it's Brady vs Manning, Brady vs Rodgers, Rodgers vs Favre, Montana vs Elway, lol.

They are all good in my book.

My only point before the pitchforks came out, lol, was that rings are a good measuring stick,sure, but
there are exceptions of Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Fran Tarkenton and Warren Moon.

Bradys great but..

Just switch the two qbs, Brady wouldnt be able to create the plays Rodgers does and wouldnt have GM/coach Belicheck to cater to him, (without Brady the Pats are 14-6). If the Pats had rodgers theyd still have won the superbowl but wouldnt have had to come from behind like they did.
