Are you guys hearing anything about team chemistry playing a role in player performance?

I have not done a lot of MUT but noticed that chemistry plays a role somehow. I have seen it in other games. The offensive line awareness blitz pickup is a variation of that. It would be really cool for longevity of gameplay with the same team if this could be incorporated.

Chemistry could be on many levels. Total offense then dive deeper with offensive line and QB/RB/WRs/TE as seperate traits. On the defensive side it could be total defense and then deeper with defensive line, LBs and secondary as seperate chemistry traits.

As of now, there is no incentive to keep a team together and is not too interesting to have the same team for a 2nd season. I think chemistry would add a lot of replay value.

One thing they did say was if we think things in longshot should be added to cam they would try to do it

Hopefully they'd give us the option to turn it off. This type of stuff always seems to be poorly implemented. You might have a backup RB splitting carries and getting 20-25 touches per game, but he's unhappy because he is a backup when in reality that's not the case. I can see quirky stuff like that happening

Based on the fact that team chemistry has been around in MUT for a while and hasn't been added to franchise mode I wouldn't say there's much chance of anything that turns out well in Longshot being added either. That seems more like a way of saying "yea, we know we spent a huge amount of time on Longshot but understand that time *might* be good for franchise. Eventually. Possibly."
