17 was great to me for gameplay and if they fixed all those legacy issues then it should be even better

I'm not a franchise only guy, but I'm a Solo offline only guy. So what I believe Madden 18 will lack is depth. On the surface, Madden has gotten better each year and I enjoyed playing it. But what keeps me from definitely buying is that not enough depth to keep me around longer. Plus the main thing is games that come out right after Madden. Really interested in 2k and Live

Definitely picking up Madden 18 this year. Being a huge football fan in general, I feel like purchasing Madden is a yearly rite of passage for me. I'd say the debut of the FrostBite engine as well as the Best Buy trade-in offer also appealed to me.

Going to skip buying it for the first time since I've been playing video games (90s) Just not feeling it, and they've gotten lazy. I'm more excited about NBA 2k. Hopefully Madden 18 looks better and has real upgrades, and doesn't look like a quick new paint job with a roster update.

I'm an offline franchise guy for me so let me preface by saying I don't have as much excitement as I normally would given the lack of attention to that mode.

Usually a day 1 buy for me, but their decision to try and squeeze an extra $20 out of people to get it on the industry standard release day killed any chance for that.
I'm out of town the 26th through the end of the month so I'm not all that motivated to pick up the standard version that Friday either, even if I were more excited about CFM. The game will have been out a full week before there is any chance I could play so I'll find a used copy based on the above.

No for me.

I've disliked CCM/CFM since it's conception. Not the idea of combined modes, just the implementation. To much of a shallow, arcade user feedback loop. FOR ME, as an offline franchise person, Madden's been a disappointment for a while now.
