Buying Day 1. Can't go wrong with trade in deals from Gamestop. Last year was mainly Online Rank matches. I love that this year has different game styles. I will wait to start franchise until week 1. If the gameplay is good, CFM will be fun since gameplay is tight.

Since I'm a big offline CFM guy I won't be buying unless I can get it cheap via trade in and a gift card. I'll pay around $20 for it but if I can't get it for that I'll stick with 17 until the price drops.

Not enough CFM changes for me to get this on day 1. Plus the new engine usually means growing pains so I'm not all that excited for 18.

Well, they haven't shown me a REASON to buy it, yet, so for now, I'll have to say no.

I have it preordered. Why? Because it's Madden and that's what I've done for the past 20 some odd years. Back in the day they didn't enforce street dates for video games. I'd find out what day Funco Land was expecting it to come in, and my dad would take me after school. They would open the box as soon as UPS dropped it off, and they'd start selling it. Madden is a yearly tradition.

If you are in BBGC, you can do that deal, but, your call.

According to Sim, game play will be released before EA Access.

Strange marketing process for sure.

Already purchased the GOAT. I always buy the new version and always will as long as I can. I am very intrigued to try out the coaching assignments and look forward to future iterations in hopes that more from NCAA will be added.

I am not too concerned about seeing game play videos only because I am not sure they would be able to highlight the coaching assignments well. The other main concern I have is how blockers pick up the biggest threat defender, and I hope they show that soon so I have a nice fuzzy feeling going forward.
