Re: Target Passing In SIM Mode

I voted no just because I feel if you're playing Sim mode then target passing really negates a lot (more than just accuracy as far as rating ...decision where to throw etc..)
so IMO it defeats the purpose.
Hell for me a true sim is a real Coach mode where you just coach the team...

BUT I get what you're saying. I've always tried to get some sort of hybrid set of sliders/setting to make rating matter a lot as well as having fun controlling some things.

So I flip flopped a bit...IF it was done properly somehow then I'd be fine with it.

Re: Target Passing In SIM Mode

I think target passing should 100% take into account a QB's accuracy ratings while playing in Sim mode. As it is right now I won't use target passing since the pass will never be off the mark.

Wouldn't it be better if you had an option to turn off the guideline? Like if all you had was your marker?

Re: Target Passing In SIM Mode

It seems people here still don't understand the functionality the mechanism.

S/M/D THA ratings are "already" tied to the L stick movement for standard passing attempts.

Why would they replicate a function that's already in use?

If it's really about QB's behaving within the confines of their ratings, then "don't User" the QB and he will behave according.

This is an optional mechanism to use with a high risk/reward attached to it.

Kinda lost why we're polling for this to replicate what's already being used.

I think you guys need to see how hard target passing is before thinking about it needing tuning. It's not easy at all.

If the online crowd doesn't find a way to exploit this I'll eat some serious crow

Re: Target Passing In SIM Mode

If Target Passing makes Blake Bortles look like an elite QB out the gate with no development from the user to make him better then I'm against it from "sim" perspective. I like that not every team, qb, player plays the exact same. That was the biggest gripe I've had in recent years. Outside of a few physical traits...Arm Strenth, Speed, etc every player was pretty much interchangeable in league play. That is fine in MUT and competitive because stick skillz should carry more weight. In simulation I'd rather all these ratings EA spends time investing in matter.

Re: Target Passing In SIM Mode

Well target passing is extremely difficult under pressure so I see why accuracy rating isn't needed... you won't be able to successfully use target passing every play ... so I vote keep it the same. Having played the game at EA Play , target passing was something I wanted to jump right into. But was something I could not execute successfully on every down
