Did they remove the second controller CFM trick to load custom playbooks for the CPU?

Edited a playbook for the CPU for my week 1 offline franchise. Made sure it was on my second account and selected it and started the game. However, when I went to go to switch the second controller back to the middle it says not available in this game mode?

I created a character for the CPU team as a coach and did what I remember doing last year or am I doing it wrong?

You need to be assigned as the 3rd qb of the opponent that you are playing against.

During the team select screen turn on the 2nd controller and when it asks for which profile select the one that you used to create the playbook.

Then select asvanced settings and change the playbook to the custom one. Then press (a) to be ready to play. (you will have to sign a free agent 3rd QB in most cases) So check the rosters first , if they do not have 3 QBs take over as a coach and promote one from practice squad or free agency. Then make a cut to put the team within the 53 player limit.

Then with your main controller select your franchise team (it should already be on that side).


Once in a while i will have to sign the 2nd profile out and resign in because once in a while the custom playbooks will not show up.

Also make sure that the 2nd profile controller is plugged in so that it does not go to sleep mode.
