    Player subs/rotation

I'm trying to get a rotation for an OLB and WR.

I understand you have to do the sub in/sub out. But I'm confused by what that means. If I wanted to increase the rotation do I make the sub in a higher and the out a lower number?

Sub Out = What level of stamina the player will be subbed out at

Sub in = what level they will return to the game

If you have a lower sub out value, the player will stay in the game longer.

The greater the gap between Sub out and Sub In = the player will remain out of the game longer to get their stamina back.

Let me know if that makes sense!

Ps. It's also a janky system that sometimes just doesnt work because of formation subs and stuff..

I used to use 95 out 99 in on WR's
Also used 93 out 99 in on all LB's IF this helps

The fatigue I believe was 60 but this was before progressive fatigue

This is a place where I find using real numbers is the only real way to explain it clearly.

Assume every player starts the game at 100 current stamina (that's not exactly true, especially since the introduction of progressive fatigue).

Players will stay in the game, reducing that current stamina through fatigue, until they hit the Sub Out number. Once they hit that number, they come out, and stay out until they've recovered enough fatigue to hit the Sub In number.

So say you have Sub Out at 85, and Sub In at 95. The player will start the game at 100, and play until they drop to 85, at which point they come out of the game. They will stay out until they recover to 95, then come back in and play until they drop to 85 again.

Bear in mind that system applies to backups as well as starters, however....I think that's where people encounter strange behavior.

For example, pretend you set the Sub In value very high....95 or above. Depending on game flow, it's possible for both the starter AND the backup to be below that current stamina, thus the game doesn't find any valid players to put in. I'm not entirely sure what the game chooses to do in that scenario...it likely depends on who's playing when it occurs and a host of other factors like formation subs and specialist positions.

          Thanks guys. I'll try tonight!

Also, I originally turned that progressive fatigue off. Should I turn it back on?

I had this happen with Running Backs. All three HB's were out and my FB was inserted.
