Contracts question to roster editors

When editing contracts to match real life ones what should be input into the field "current salary" on the editor ? I cant figure this one out.

I would assume its the salary for that given year.

It's how much they are being paid (no bonuses) that year only.

Thanks , i thought about that but when checking real life player salaries the ones on madden never matched for that particular field . Anyways i decided the best way to get real contracts is to just copy every contract from m15 to my m25 25 roster since it would be faster than searching through the net .
