Well, if you want "Real-Life" speed, you would need to find out the maximum velocity for each runner.

You can do this by analyzing their split times from their 40 yard dash runs and interpolating the rate of acceleration (initial quickness or burst according to Madden) and maximum velocity (the speed at which they run after they stop to accelerate.

Bryant's initial velocity is 2.9862 yds/second.

Green's initial velocity is 2.87 yds/second.

So Bryant accelerates more quickly.

However, Bryant's maximum velocity is 10.8645 yds/second, while Green's maximum velocity is 10.9611 yds/second.

This means that although Bryant has better acceleration, once both runners stop accelerating, Green is actually FASTER because his maximum velocity is higher.

According to FBG ratings, where all players are rated on the same scale for such attributes, Bryant would have an ACC of 83 and a SPD of 80, while Green would have an ACC of 80 and a SPD of 84.
