change player scheme
I have used the EA DB editor and the Madden editor and I still cannot find where to change the scheme of the player. Anybody know?Tags: None -
Re: change player scheme
It isn't a trait. It is it's own different thing I believe.
Each player has a scheme. 3-4 attacking, vertical offense, power run (offense), etc... It is what type of scheme they play in. From what I have read, it is very important to the game because the AI will choose player's who fit their scheme. I also read somewhere that a good fit between team scheme and player scheme makes the player get more XPs.
Basically a team has a scheme for offense and defense (spread offense and 4-3 defense). Each player has a scheme associated to them that they play best in.
The ones I posted above are just a couple but their are more. I am not sure if Madden 12 has schemes.Comment

Re: change player scheme
That is what I am thinking too. It was probably introduced in Madden 25.
I tried to go through all the columns in the raw data and figure out which one was the player scheme, if it was even there. Was like finding a camouflauge needle in a hay stack.
I'll send a pick when I get a chance.Last edited by Geaux Tigahs; 06-03-2020, 01:55 PM.Comment

Re: change player scheme
Here is a pic. Notice “Scheme” in the top right. Sam Darnold, a QB, should have an offensive scheme like “Vertical Offense”, “Spread” or “ Power Run”.
