Re: Sliders by Jaymee - Madden 13 - Realistic Game Stats
Hmm.. First game was a 42-24 win against the Bears as the Lions.. They couldn't run and I had way too many sacks. But I'll give it another go later tonight.
Had 8 sacks. And Calvin Johnson had 8 receptions for 208 yards and 5 TD's lol. Kevin Smith had 20 carries for 80 yards and a TD. Matt Stafford was 20/35 for 358 yards and 5 TD's. Jay Cutler was 35/44 for 373 yards and 2 TD's. I mean I see the Lions beating the Bears this year, but not by that much lol. Like I said. Gotta try again tonight.

Other than megatron and the 8 sacks I say that it was a fairly good show. Looks like you looked for megatron too many times deep. Also did you play defense or let it play itself. Most likely your next game will be totally different. I haven't had back to back games that were the same yet.

Yeah I found that they left Megatron open way too often so I just had to take it. Some of it wasn't even deep routes, he just broke a tackle or two and turned it into a massive gain. The sacks, I was mostly just using gameflow and they had me blitzing a lot.
Re: Sliders by Jaymee - Madden 13 - Realistic Game Stats
hey i got a question about the sliders. When you adjust user sliders does it affect your whole team or just the player u are playing as? and when u adjust cpu does that affect the team you are playing and the players on your team that arent playing or just the other team?
Re: Sliders by Jaymee - Madden 13 - Realistic Game Stats
Really enjoying these sliders. Thought I'd post up the box scores from my Dolphins career using these sliders. I use GameFlow for playcalling btw.
First game @ Texans - Close game throughout with the Texans pulling it out on a late 30 yd field goal try from Shayne Graham. Andre Johnson is on IR for the Texans from an injury he got in preseason. Still I couldn't beat them lol.

Next game vs. the Raiders was weird because even with Carson Palmer recording a perfect passer rating and McFadden averaging 6 yds a carry while Garrard and my running backs put up sub par to decent numbers, it was still a close game in which the Raiders needed a late-game bomb from Palmer to rookie Rod Streater, who burned my secondary on a go route, to win the game. Reggie Bush went down in the first half and would miss the next game vs. the Jets before returning to action in Week 4.

I'm four games deep into the season so far, I'll post up the next two box scores in another post.
Re: Sliders by Jaymee - Madden 13 - Realistic Game Stats
So after losing two heartbreakers to start the season 0-2, Miami was back home to host the hated Jets, who had a decidedly different start to the season, 2-0 and Sanchez had yet to throw a pick.
The game didn't start off well for me at all, as a Davone Bess dropped pass fell into the hands of Calvin Pace who ran it all the way back for a TD on my opening drive. I responded well, however, marching down the field to punch it into the endzone on my next drive. Three lead changes took place in the first half alone, but the fourth change would be the last, as my defense shut them out in the 2nd half and David Garrard threw two more TD passes, both to TE Charles Clay in the 3rd.

Finally I played the Cardinals, which was by far the most fun game I've played in Madden 13 so far. The Cards shut me out in the first half, and held a 19-0 lead in the 3rd (went for two and failed after a Beanie Wells 38 yd TD run. No idea why they did since we still had a goose egg on the board up till then). That's when David Garrard decided he had had enough, leading the Dolphins to 24 points which all went unanswered until John Skelton hit Michael Floyd deep for a TD with a minute left in the game. The subsequent 2-pt conversion put the Cards back in the lead, the score now 27-24. The Dolphins savvy veteran QB though wouldn't give up, leading his team down the field and justtttt into field goal range, and Dan Carpenter was able to nail a 49-yarder as time expired to force overtime.
Miami won the coin toss, and obviously chose to receive. They stopped me, got the ball, we stopped them, got the ball, and proceeded to move down the field and into field goal range where Dan Carpenter was able to finish off the comeback victory, 30-27 Dolphins. Very exciting.

I still have yet to run for 100 yards with one player this season. I may have to change my philosophy to be more balanced as far as run vs. pass plays called. But overall I'm having a lot of fun with these in my CC, and just felt like sharing my results. Cheers.
I'm glad you are having fun. I'm seeing the same ups and downs with mine and it is exciting. Winning or tying at the end f the game is so exciting. Also getting blown out or blowing someone out is a nice change from time to time. I'm averaging about 95 yards a game on the ground. I suggest trying other play books that might have some better run formations for your team
