GhostBugg's M13 All pro Offline Vikings CCM slider set

Update 10/02/12.... While I will be leaving these here for everyone, I AM NO LONGER USING THESE. There was an issue with player rushing that I just could not fix. This is a set a worked on for a long time though so there is no reason to assume that they wont work for someone else. I have since moved to testing playmakers base set for All-Pro and am having a lot more luck with adjusting the player rushing ability.

Still in progress.. After the suggestion from BrianU to try using the gameplan pass and run plays instead of just gameplan I am seeing better results from the Player rush. Not only is the play calling more balanced, but I am not running the ball 45 times a game, so the final stats are more realistic. I am still working out a few minor things but this set is very close to being complete.

I redesigned these from my original set. I am making a new post because they are so much different then the original set that updating it didn't seem like the best way to go. I will be deleting my original set soon.

Some basic Rules i play by:

1. I never switch players on defense. i am now playing as my strong safety (original I played as the middle linebacker) and am finding the game much more enjoyable.
2. I do not control my wide receivers. I only use the QB and RB, the CPU controls my receivers before and after the catch.
3. I always use gameplan Pass/rush playcalling. I audible out of broken plays but that is all.
4. I am a die hard vikings fan and never play with any other team.

Sliders:

League settings

Skill level: All-Pro
Quarter length: 15 minutes
Acc clock: ON
Minimum Play clock Time: 11 seconds
Game speed: slow
Player progression: every four weeks
Coach firing: OFF
Game play tuning: on
Auto strafe: ON
Auto sprint: ON
Notes: All-pro plays better then all madden in M13. Actually pro shows promise as well but I just couldnt create sliders that worked well in pro. CLock time is designed to give 120 to 140 plays per game. I like this setting because The computer snaps the ball below 5 seconds on the play clock like I do and it provides, IMO, the most realistic play count and TOP you can get. Auto strafe and auto sprint do make a difference in gameplay for you and the CPU. They need to be ON for this set.

Re: GhostBugg's M13 All pro Offline Vikings CCM slider set

I just wanted to share the stats that i am basing all my testing off of. These stats were taken from the 2011-2012 NFL season for the vikings.

These averages are on a per game basis.

Passing yards
Vikings..........185
Opponents.....251

Rushing yards
Vikings..........145
Opponents.....107

Sacks
Vikings...........3
Oppenents......3

Penalties(this stat was taken from NFL averages, not team averages)
Vikings............6
Opponents.......6

Interceptions
Vikings............(.5)
Opponents.......1

Dropped passes
Vikings............2
Opponents.......2

Injuries
Vikings............3
Opponents.......4

Fumbles
Vikings............(.8)
Opponents.......1.1

I also focused early on playcalling and the number of plays per game and have really had great stats for this. In my current season I have completed 9 games with these sliders, and these are the playcalling stats so far.

average number of offensive plays per game

119.3...... this is almost perfect. This number does not include sacks, FG's, or punts, but if you add those in they are still in the 120 to 140 plays per game.

playcalling stats

CPU pass plays called so far........284
CPU rush plays called so far........244

player gameplan pass plays called......209
player gameplan rush plays called.......336

^^^^ this is still my biggest problem. using gameplan, which I actually like using, has called a lot more rushes for me then passes. Even for a team that is designed to run the ball, like the vikings are, this is way too unbalanced. Any suggestions on how to fix this without calling my own plays would be great, otherwise calling my own plays may be the only option.

You can move the left stick left or right to have it select just Gameflow Pass or Gameflow Run plays. I think thats the only real option since you can't create custom gameplans in CCM. Maybe have a house rule that you use Gameflow Pass only on plays that are 8+ yards from first down and the rest of time and the rest of time use normal Gameflow

I tried this in the last 2 games I played and i want to thank you for suggesting it. I never even realized this was an option. I believe this is going to really help in fixing the balance of play calling. Again, thank you very much.

The turnovers in the fourth quarter killed. 2 of my 3 INT's were late in the game while I was trying to come from behind. Their defense played well and i should have given the ball to adrian peterson about 10 more times. I was forcing throws with ponder down field and he loses a lot of his accuracy beyond 15 yards or so.

My defensive focus cost me the game on this one. I came into the game thinking only about how to stop rodgers and all those wide receivers from destroying my mediocre DB's and somewhat succeeded in doing so. However because of how much I focused on that, I allowed Cedric benson to torch me for 207 yards and 2 touchdowns. It's not easy playing the packers.

After losing 3 divisional games in a row (lions, bears, Packers) I went up against chicago for the second time in 3 games with the idea that I just needed to get back to playing basic, balanced football. with a perfect balance of 26 runs and 26 passes, and huge plays by Jared Allen with 3 sacks all in the fourth quarter and Adrian peterson with a 63 yard touchdown and a 21 yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, I finally pout another win up. Although I am now 2 - 3 in NFC North games and with the last one being the packers, a divisional win and a playoff spot may not be coming this year.

Current standings in the NFC North
Packers..... 10 - 3 (div 3 - 1)
Lions......... 9 - 4 (div 3 - 2)
Vikings....... 8 - 5 (div 2 - 3)
Bears........ 5 - 8 (div 1 - 3)

I dont know if this was a fluke or what but steven jackson ran all over me from start to finish. This would normally have been a shoot out but I went 2 for 5 in the red zone, both field goals, and just couldnt finish my drives. I am going to play the next game without any changes and see if something I did could have had that much effect on gameplay.
