Does anybody suffer serious injuries?

My brother and I have gotten the 360 version the last 3 years and we do a franchise every year together. However, not once in 3 years of this game (and multiple seasons in each franchise) have any of our players on either of our teams ever suffered an injury longer than the duration of the game we are playing. 95% of the time the player "will return soon" with the rest being out 1 or 2 quarters. It's just kind of annoying because you never really have to worry about the depth of your team because you know your players are going to stay healthy. Anybody else find this is a problem for them?

Pretty much I feel the whole injury system needs a complete overhaul for 2010 as the thing that really bugs me is knowing right away how long somebody is going to be out. In the NFL, you don't know the severity of an injury usually until the trainers check out the players on the sideline and you hear from the sideline reporters.

I lost James Hardy for the season with a broken vertebrae and then lost Marshawn Lynch for 2 weeks with a concussion.

Yes,like 3-5 per game. I just use the rewind most of the time because it's rediculous. Also in my simmed franchise there were 7-10 players out for the season,only one on my team though.

In my first game of the regular season in my franchise Reggie Bush was hurt on a toss play and it turned out to be an abdominal tear that kept him out for 6 weeks. Luckily for me though depth at HB is no problem with Deuce and Stecker ready to run the ball.

Also, that week 2 or 3 guys on other teams had career ending injuries. No big names though, just middle of the road and back-ups.

I lost Champ Bailey for 8 weeks with a broken arm, I think that was serious enough
