So is there a new kicking system or what?

last year Ian said they were going to work on a new kicking system for this year. then i read somewhere on these boards that the kicking system is still the same. so is it the same or what? I think it would be a shame if they didnt change the kicking system after all the things they are fixing this year. it seems like a simple fix, heck ill even take the last gen kicking system over the current one, atleast its more challenging.

I hope there is a new one without any meters! I really like All Pros's kicking system but it too could be better. I like using the R stick to act as the kickers leg but it should be more of a timing issue that follows his kicking leg. Meaning you don't pull back until the kicker plants his non-kicking foot and then follow straight through.

How about a cursor that appears in the goal posts that we can move that will show where the ball should be kicked at "not" where it will land.

So if you have alot of wind left to right you might have to move the cursor outside of the left post to compensate for the wind. then the strength of the kickers leg will come into play for distance and how accurate you push up on the stick for accuracy of hitting that cursor. If you push up too much left then the ball will start off to far left of the cursor.

they should just focus on accuracy for the field goals and PATs

on madden, it's not like you ever kick the ball anything less than full power, so they should take the power gauge out. they can then do it all on the thumbsticks, so the accuracy is more pinpoint..

hmm, i dont know.

I don't care what the meter is as long as it's challenging. Field goals have been far too easy to make.
