OK Here in baltimore theres a store selling Madden 10 now they always sell there games a week b4 the release date (not sure if its legal) anyway a friend of mine brought madden 10 we played it saturday and 2day and i still wasnt impressed. I'm not hating or bashing Madden 10 but here my the issues i had with it.
Gameplay was very slow.
In 09 the gameplay was the fastest its ever been, in madden 10 the default gameplay is muchslower however their is a option in the menu to change the game speed and make it faster.
Qb Passing Issues
The accuracy on this game is a major problem! throwing the long ball is pretty much a prayer unless u have the Mannings, brady or Brees. The WR's never really come back to the ball which causes alot of Interceptions.
Running Back still dont stiff arm the juke movepretty much doesnt exist since He gotthe game early the online capabilities were not up and running. the defensive side of the ball was pretty much the same
This is 2010!!!!! Why dont they have DOUBLE COVERAGE????? The average Madden consumer has no idea what double coverage is Nor do they know what "Assigning a PLayer" is.
For example lets say the Steelers are playing against the ravens, the ravens are on defense.
if i want to assign Ed Reed to guard santonio Holmes i cannot do it.
I cannot make Ray Lewis and Terrel Suggs both guard Willy Parker in madden 10 however i CAN assign players to do that in ESPN 2k5
wheres the progression? the New madden has a cart that comes and picks up injured players on the field, they have the coaches shake hand after the game, the kicker warms up on the side line, the chain gang comes out for 1st downs they focus alot on the presentation but the gameplay hasnt been ehanced at all.
madden has had all those features in the past! Madden Takes out some features and brings them back years later as if these things are new! In Madden 1993 the injury cart comes on the field
In Madden 2002 the coaches shake hands the chain gang was in madden 98.
EA owns the ESPN licensing but they dont use it at all theres an EA logo on damn near everything in the game lol The halftime show has a GREAT presentation but it fails in comparison to 2k5's
2010 doesn't have any commentary for their halftime show at all. they just show stats and then jump to a video of your plays check it out 4 ya self

EA games have Amazing Presentation but sub par game play and since it is THE ONLY NFL football game consumers DO NOT have the freedom of choice. there is no alternative. We cannot say INSTEAD OF purchasing MAdden i will get ------------ instead. there no other NFL or NCAA Football Games made by rival companies.
which is ironic seeing as how America prides it self on FREEDOM of Choice. lmao
