Watched it again...

The gameplay does look really good and organic to me.

Good to see they've finally added some bulk to Felix Jones.

I GF Madden every year because after playing NCAA in the weeks leading to release I usually can stand Madden for about 2-3 weeks then find myself feeling like I've been playing the same game for 10 years once the novelty wears off. But for the people that have enjoyed the game every year for the past few I think they'll be happy as it's defintely the best looking Madden I can remember.

Agreed [like]

I agree with this. With auto-drop removed it probably encourages more people to drop further and further back on each throw. I'm glad I mostly play offline...

James Harrison still looks too small....his thighs are huge in real life.

I feel people are really missing the boat if they don't take into consideration this preview. I know Christian has been been hard on the Madden series over the last few years and he admits it in this preview.

Im not saying totally eliminate it either....I still want guys like Ngata and Suh to get to the qb some........

but (the push up the middle/pushing OL into the QB) should be more frequent then those interior guys chasing down the qb and getting the most sacks

Thats been a big pet peeve of mine about Madden.....In the 3-4 the LBs are the stars...they get all the fancy sack numbers...but in Madden its reversed

A.Smith is one of the best 3-4 DEs to ever play the game, but he shouldn't be killing SilverBack(Harrison) in sacks all the time in Madden
This ABSOLUTETLY needs to be fixed, as an offline player I can live with most of the other....but, come on guys, is it really that hard to program some kind of basic O/Dline recognition of the differance between a 4-3 and a 3-4 defense??

I think a simple fix here would be to allow the user to be able to toggle auto dropback on or off.

Overall I like what I see so far. Release is still almost 3 months away so still plenty of time to fine tune gameplay.

loved seeing Bryant get knocked off balance/forced to slow down
liked seeing him pull away without super speed burst from either side
pass rush non existent-QBs should get crushed when they run around like a headless chicken

Wow, I really like the 13 yard QB drop back pass at 0:08. So awesome.
