I know it's not the imported draft class. As I said, I believe it's mostly to do with the bad preseason depth chart management of the CPU.

I wonder if this is because the when these players are created they might have a 85 overall because the CPU doesn't know all the stats, so they are taking these instead of vet QBs on active FA list. Then once the preseason is over they are to stupid to cut them and get better players.

The more I play franchise I see once again where you really have to do all 32 teams if you want to make it right. Which takes some of the sim out of it for you because you have to sit there and force yourself not to make your team better than everyone else instead of having CPU teams that can keep you honest.

I guess you could control them solely preseason cutting and let the cpu sim all the rest for those teams including draft picks to keep you honest.

I need to see if I can get a mod to change the title, change it to "Random Fake UNFA's invading Franchise"

I want people to be aware of this, in case they are debating on controlling all 32 teams or not, or the pros and cons of it.

Even after I finish the rosters, im still gona control all 32.

This seems an odd design choice when you're importing from NCAA. Why manufacture UDFA's when you just could use guys that went undrafted from the NCAA import????

playing around briefly last night i did notice the pre-season depth chart with the UDFA's at almost all #1 and #2 positions for the first game

has anyone noticed if that stays the same on CPU controlled depth chart throughout the pre-season, or does the CPU change it up?

Theres not a whole lot of players left over from the imported class. We need to be able to make our own draft classes from scratch like 2k did with its NBA series. And be able to edit the appearance and age of players along with all the stuff we can already edit.
