Getting Around Position Minimums?

I especially noticed on the Vikings, there are several o-linemen on the EA update who are really practice squad members. Shannon Shell, Mark Wilson, and Sean Bubin come to mind. I created DT CJ Mosley, TE Richard Owens, G Anthony Herrera, and CB's Laroni Gallishaw and Devonte Edwards who are really on the team, but cannot get them all on due to the minimum requirements. Any way to get around this? Mosley and Owens are the two I cannot seem to add. The Vikings having 3 guys on IR does not help any either.

You can temporarily get around this problem but when it comes time to start a franchise it will have to be fixed. What you do is sign someone in that position & edit him to another position on the team. Before doing this you have to release the player(s) you want to cut into the FA pool. For example,let's say you only have 2 QB's & you need another for roster requirements you have to sign another QB matching a position you need to fill. After signing him edit him to that position(change to FS,SS,TE,etc.) This will leave you with 2 QB's but you want get that roster requirement message like when you try to release a 3rd QB into the FA pool. It's a little confusing at first but when you play around with it then it gets pretty easy. Keep in mind though you have to have the minimums to start your franchise.
