Madden 12 difficulty issues

Hi guys, I'm having trouble finding a good balanced difficulty in Madden 12, specifically in certain areas.
I've tried all 5 of the top 5 slider settings and I find they are too difficult in many ways. When playing on All-Pro I generally put up 50 points average, though the CPU defense doesn't make it too easy, however my defence dominates. On All-Madden I get shat on.
The main problem I'm finding with all the custom sliders so far are in these areas:

1. Passing - It seems I'm able to pass short with no difficulty, but as soon as I take a shot deep, 90% of the time it is intercepted. Regardless of what QB I am, what type of throw it is or who the defender is, they will always make the catch.

2. Pass rush - Bottom line is it's very difficult, and I may average a sack a game if I'm lucky.

3. User INT's - Basically don't exsist. No matter who my corner is or how good his catching is they always drop the easiest INTs. I finished my season with 3 INTs, whilst I threw at least 32.

4. Conversions - No matter how hard I try, the CPU *always* converts on 3rd down. Even there are two defenders in the back field the CPU will always find a way.

At the moment I'm using Playmaker's Hybrid All Pro (kudos), but it has made it no better. Admittedly I am not the best player at Madden but I would like a challenge thats fair if possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you tried mine out I wish you had of said something about the issues you were having and I would have helped you adjust the sliders to suit your style of play along with a few tips to get you better at the game..

Hiya mate, if I'm honest I wasn't sure I would get a reply if I did. Obviously I didn't read all the posts in your settings but I didn't think you would have time to get back to me.
That said the fact you've replied to me is awesome mate. So advice you can give me would be superb. Obviously I can use your sliders again!

In fact I remember using the red settings with yours, and I adjusted those you suggested, (if I remember, I believe it was accuracy, catching, block shedding among others?), and I still found it very difficult.

I always respond to anyone who uses my sliders.. How many games did you play? You need to get at least 3 games in to see how everything is working so I can see the issues and help you adjust the sliders. Play about 3 games with the red set again and use the low end sliders that are in parenthesis..

sounds like you don't need sliders... sounds like you need rookie or pro difficulty.

I would have thought so too, as I said in the post however, I put up at least 50 points on all pro. So I doubt that would improve things much.

I'm new to the forum but I am a firm believer in the priority/style settings and coaching gameplan settings that have been talked about.

I'm actually not as good as you but on a default All-Pro vanilla setup I'd get smoked for the reasons you mentioned. On Pro I smoke the computer.

After making gameplan, priority, and style changes I can play a very competitive game on All-Pro. I lost to the Titans 27-24 after being down 24-10. I committed four turnovers and most of them lead to points. Johnson was held in check except for one play that resulted in an 80-yd TD.

My previous game against them in All-Pro saw Hasslebeck and Britt smoke me over and over again. Johnson was basically irrelevant.

I think sliders are only part of the story ... One thing is very clear though. This game is extremely complicated

Haha this is very true Charlie. Yes you are probably right, I should put together a gameplan most definetly. I think the only reason I haven't as of yet is because I like to play custom teams, which don't allow gameplans.
That said, I cant recall the amount of times I've had to call a timeout to change a crap play which cant be audibled.
Out of intrest Charlie, how do you generally change your coaching scheme? Anything in specific? E.g. do you change the QB slider to more pocket if he is a pocket passer, or change DE's to Pass Rush etc?
