Xbox vs. PS2 controller?

How much better is the PS2 controller for this game? Will it hinder my experience to play with the Xbox controller?

I'm not sure which will be better. I bought an adapter for my XBOX. It allows me to play with my PS2 controller on my XBOX. I just rececently bought an XBOX on Ebay. I wasn't used to the controller so I bought this adapter. It's okay, but it can be confusing. The best thing about it is that the White and Black XBox buttons are now two of the trigger buttons on the front of the PS2 controller. This was easier for me.

So, I guess I didn't answer your question directly. But I had a controller issue similar to yours and the adapter kinda helped.

if you have the xbox controller S. then you wont have a problem I like it just as much as the dual shock 2.

What's the difference between the XBOX controller S and the one that came with the XBOX? Is there a difference? Forgive the question if it's stupid, but I am new to XBOX.

The S controller is smaller, and the a,b,x,y buttons are round not oval and are in the standard triangular layout. I think they're raised more too. The black and white buttons are nearer to the a,b,x,y buttons making them more accessible and the the little "+" on the d-pad is raised more.

For the Xbox control scheme, how do you juke? Is there a left and right juke button or do they use that awful single juke button?

They use the juke stick now, just like in NCAA

Is the Speed burst now the A button & switch players B like NCAA as well ???

I can understand different game companies not using the same controller scheme, but EA needs to get some consistancy and use the same one for both games. At least for the basic controls, i know it would be illogical for Madden to have the option controls as it doesn't work in the NFL.
