PS3 Madden 2007 vs 360

Not to start a flame war, but I have recently converted from the 360 version of Madden to the PS3 and I must say... what the heck? The PS3 version looks SO terrible compared to 360. I know the gameplay was tweaked a bit, but the graphics look bad on PS3. I am hoping this is due to the fact that it was a rushed port, but who knows... Comments?

Are you playing on a hdtv ? i hear that ps3's graphics don't do well on std def tv's. I have a 360 and the game looks fine and seening the ps3 version at gamestop on a hd montior it looks the same.

I would have to disagree, I think the PS3 version is better in every aspect of the game. Your question however was just about the graphics and I like the PS3's better. I think they have a more crisp color and overall picture.

Graphics may be a little better on the PS3 which is probably due to the HDMI and more time to clean it up. But the frame rate IMO is worse... a lot worse.

360 version definately looks better.. i have a 360 elite with hdmi.. my buddy has a ps3 using hdmi.. 360 looks better all around and also runs more smoothly.

I think the difference is negligible. Aside from the feaux gang tackling there is little difference. I doubt we will ever see much of a difference in the two much like last GEN. Its just not EAs MO

See, no flame war... people can discuss things intelligently. Thanks for all the responses guys. To answer your question, I am not using an HD tv, and yes I have heard that the 360 does better in SD compared to the PS3. Maybe I made a mistake switching because it could be a while before I go HD. Other differences I've noticed...

1. Frame rate is worse (I believe this may be due to the system being new and devs not knowing how to unify the seperated RAM properly).

2. Online play is laggy (I believe this is due to the fact that the PS3 version did not get the outer region play patch that was made for 360)

3. Lighting is pretty bad (Hopefully this can be fixed after Sony releases their "Playstation Edge" tools that make programming a little easier on the system.

I am hoping all of these issues will be fixed by 08... If not, back to 360 I go!
