I was watching some Ed Reed highlights today and I was thinking madden needs more tipped INT's watching ed reed makes you realize how many interceptions in the league are caused by some some sort of mishandling of the ball weather its a big hit jarring the ball out or a LB or a DL getting their hand in the passing lane or maybe just a wr with stone hands. Now I do realize that these things do occur in madden but they don't happen enough especially lineman get their hands on the ball. Plus when they happen in madden they look terrible

Re: Tip Drill
I can certainly get behind this idea. When I think back to interceptions that I've either made or threw in the past few Maddens I've played, they seem to all be directly to the player intercepting the ball. I actually can't recall many, if any, passes that were tipped prior to being picked off. In the NFL a lot of interceptions are off of tipped passes or the ball being misdirected somehow.Patriots

Re: Tip Drill
i played couple games last few days that had ints tipped then picked off some by me some by the cmp so its in the game i just dont think they happen as much like the real nfl,ive also had big hits that popped ball loose and picked off as well.Comment

Re: Tip Drill
That's the problem. They'll implement it, and then every other pass will be floating in the air while you try and get your receiver in perfect position to get in front of the corner to catch it. It's something that should happen once or twice a game, not one or twice a drive.--

Re: Tip Drill
and thats what im afraid of they act like they dont know how to add things in modesty without overdoing it. I remember one of those ncaa football games had it back on the ps2 and they over did it the ball would be thrown on a rope and soon as it was tipped it turned into a baloon or a beach ballThat's the problem. They'll implement it, and then every other pass will be floating in the air while you try and get your receiver in perfect position to get in front of the corner to catch it. Re: Tip Drill
Re: Tip Drill
I think the QB should throw in the dirt more when getting hit, and I think tipped balls should increase for INTs. They're the easiest balls to intercept if a defender is under it.
I saw it happen early in NCAA Football '11 before the tuning adjustments. It's realistic, and it should be implemented better.Comment
