Pass Interference Fixed Via Tuner? So to my dismay pass interference has been overlooked yet again this year and I was curious if a tuner set would be able to increase PI calls? I can't even count how many times I have had a drive go down the drain due to a no pass interference call. I have probably played 50 or so games and have yet to see it called once. I've even seen receivers hit before the ball even gets to them and no call, corners blocking a receivers route and no call. I just really don't understand why this problem has not been addressed, it has been this way since Madden arrived on next gen consoles. Here's to hoping this is something that can be addressed via tuner, if we even see one....Tags: None

Re: Pass Interference Fixed Via Tuner?

yeah I have seen ZERO. If the penalty sliders worked liked they should we wouldn't need to put the majority of them at 100 and even that doesn't do much.....Comment

Agreed, PI hasn't worked in years. Hopefully, they will fix that.

I have never seen the AI be called for PI and after the patch, there was a call. I've been called before for controlling the CB and running into the WR, but never the AI on me.Comment

Re: Pass Interference Fixed Via Tuner?

The few times I have seen it - it was on Very Fast speed.

Not sure what, if anything that had to do with it. Maybe I just got lucky.

But I haven't seen it on any other speed, not that it happens a lot on very fast."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: Pass Interference Fixed Via Tuner?

excuse the question but im a Brit and dont know all the rules. i thought it was PI if the receiver was in a position to make the catch and the ball had been thrown however he was interfered with by the defence. if the ball hasnt been thrown then its illegal contact downfield past the 5 yard bump from los?Comment

You are correct, sir.excuse the question but im a Brit and dont know all the rules. i thought it was PI if the receiver was in a position to make the catch and the ball had been thrown however he was interfered with by the defence. if the ball hasnt been thrown then its illegal contact downfield past the 5 yard bump from los?"I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. Re: Pass Interference Fixed Via Tuner?

Unfortunately, illegal contact doesn't even exist in the game. Nor does defensive holding. And don't get me started on the fact that they have blocks in the back being called as clipping, and have for as long as I can remember, even though they aren't even remotely the same thing.

It amuses me that the British guy in post #7 knows the rules better than the guys making the world's biggest -- and now only -- American football game.Impact de Montréal
