ppl who pause game just to get a win!!!!!

i think players who pause the game just to get a win should be awarded with a loss and a ban of there EA account. i just played a guy he was up 10-0 in first quarter and he pauses the game and he left it paused a good 10-15 minutes i even asked for a friendly quit which he quickly replied NO!!!!!!! if EA can put in the offsides thing and that player gets loss well EA should start enforcing the pause bs.

if you unpause, it will force you guys back in the game in 30 seconds.

how u unpause it? i hit return to game and only got the response the other guy pause game and have wait for him to come back.

Were you playing Madden 11 or Madden 12? Madden 11 had a pause glitch. I'm not even sure if you can still play online in Madden 11.

i new to online i played a few this yr but this was first time somebody paused and let it go on that long and i hit the return to game button. so im not all up on what to do when stuff like that happens.

Anyways, just return to game. When that message pops up dont do anything. Wait 30 seconds like everyone else says and you will return to the game. If he pauses again then just wait again. I think you can only pause a total of 5 times per game. If you do not wait 30 seconds before you hit something then it starts the 30 seconds over.

I actually think it should be like Fifa 12 were you pause and regardless the counts starts ticking down at 30 seconds.

This a great thread to advocate for my online idea of no pauses in Ranked games. Add the pause menu options to the playcall screen in a minimal format and make each player use actual timeouts to access the classic pause menu.

It would add a lot of realism and simulate the real life strategy of using timeouts wisely.

I believe there is a known glitch were people pause the game and it just sits there and nothing happens, no matter what you do. I've seen people in ranked games, 4th Quarter 21-14 (Away for 3 Hours). It's chicken game to see who'll quit first.

This has happened to a known friend of mine.

i agree because like the other posters said i DID hit the return to game and like i said i was waiting around for 15 minute's so that's longer then 30 secs and nothing and i also asked for a friendly quit in those 15 minutes which got denied!!! so he was basically sitting there watching his screen.

you can't offer a friendly quit if you are waiting for the other person. there is also no glitch that people can do. if that really happen to the guy in the first post on this pages friend, it wasn't because of the other person, it was a server issue

You are wrong, there is a glitch and it is not server-related. I have seen it plenty of people 21-10 4th Quarter - Away for 4 hours.

And this was even mentioned to me by a friend happening.

Edit: After re-reading your post you clearly did a bad job reading the others. The OP is the one making the claim it happened to him and I am simply backing the fact that I have heard and see instantes were this happened.

Edit Two: If you want exact words, he said the guy sent him a message saying, 'see how long you'll wait for a win.' Thats when the 'glitch' occured. After about 10 minutes the friend simply just quit, guess who got the win?

forgive me, but i don't beleive you or your friend, and after re-reading all the posts in this topic i'm sure i said what i meant. if someone pauses, you hit unpause, it will pop up the message "waiting for other player". while that message is up you can't hit any other options, you can go back with O, but that is it, and that will just going to reset the timer. also i don't get what your trying to say when you say "I have seen it plenty of people 21-10 4th Quarter - Away for 4 hours." where do you see this at?
